Hiring computer science talent without an established in-house hiring pipeline for these roles is difficult to get right. Without existing talent, who can assess a candidates technical ability and fit for the requirements of the role well? Whether you’re hiring your first software engineer or support for a small team, Tessier-Ashpool GmbH can help your company select the best candidate for your role.
What we can offer, and what we don’t
Our support focuses on selecting the right candidates, not finding them. We can help with crafting job requirements and descriptions, and once candidates are applying, we will work with you to build a bespoke interviewing process for the role. Our founder will work directly with you to execute these interviews and contextualise the results for you. This way, your decision makers will be in an excellent position to pick the best candidate for your firms needs.
On the other hand, Tessier-Ashpool GmbH does not offer recruiting services. We do not see ourselves as head hunters, we do not scour LinkedIn for candidates. We can work with existing recruiting agencies you employ to direct their search, or perform CV and profile screenings for potential candidates. We are also not a temp agency or maintain our own candidate pool. Our services are focused on interviewing and selecting the most suitable talent out of the applications you firm receives for a job posting.
The process
Our support can begin as early as figuring out what role your firm needs to fill, to as late as interviewing existing candidates. At a high level, these are the most common steps we can get involved with:
- Establishing job requirements in close discussion with your hiring managers, team leads, managers and decision makers. We will help establish responsibilities of and skills needed for the role, and help craft these into a fitting and attractive job description for posting on hiring portals or handing to recruiting agencies.
- As candidates start applying or being proposed by recruiters, we can support you in screening their applications and CVs.
- Alongside this, we will work together to design an interviewing pipeline for the role, to allow your firm to best assess candidates abilities and culture fit. This involves deciding on how many interviews to run, the mix between early screening tests, in-depth technical interview rounds and non-technical rounds with managers and decision makers. We can provide insight into appropriate technical interviews for the job requirements and the candidates profile.
- Our founder will either directly run technical interviewing rounds, sit in on interviews conducted by your own engineers or simply provide advice and training to your own interviewers as needed.
- Where we were directly involved in interviews, we will provide detailed feedback on the candidates performance and our conclusions regarding their suitability for the role. In any case, we can support interview roundups and hiring decisions with insight into the candidates performance during the interviews.
- Throughout the process, we will evaluate together how the interviewing process is working, what adjustments might be needed and how to ensure that your company can hire the best talent for the role.

This is a bespoke service, supporting your firm in the ways it needs.
